(FAQ consists of questions and answers which are frequently asked during running of Online application. We keep updating this section. However some general questions have been given below)
Q. 1 : What are modes for applying for the post ?
Answer : Candidates are required to submit the Online Application Form only ONCE.Multiple applications will be rejected.
Q. 2 : I have, by mistake, entered incorrect data in my application. How shall I correct it ?
Answer : If a candidate finds that all the filled information are correct then he/she can select the declaration and click on final SUBMIT button given on page, otherwise EDIT the information filled by him/her. The candidate should cross check all the details filled in the Online Application, before finally submitting the same, as no correction will be possible later. Data, once submitted cannot be edited. Care should, therefore be taken that only correct information is entered in the Application Form. In case you find that anything needs to be changed, go back and make the necessary changes. Only when you are sure the information is in order, Click on SUBMIT button.
Q. 3 : What documents should I keep for future reference ?
Answer : A copy of Registered Application Form, Photocopy of all relevant Certificates / Documents, Interview Letter needs to be maintained till the end of the process.
Q. 4 : Can the age of candidate be rounded off to the lower limit ?
Answer : No, the age cannot be rounded off to the lower limit
Q. 5 : If the print out of the filled Application Form could not be taken at the time of registration, can it be taken out at a later date ?
Answer : Yes. In case the candidate is not able to take the printout of the Registered Application Form , he can take the printout on a later date.
Q. 6 : What will be the Mode of Exam ?
Answer : Mode of Exam will be Online Test (CBT or Computer based Test) only
Q. 7 : Whether there is any possibility of change in the date of test due to clashing of other exam's or interview dates. ?
Answer : The dates once declared shall not be changed under any circumstances
Q. 8 : Whether educational qualification and all other certificates and uploaded documents are required to be sent ?
Answer : Candidates are required to send by Post and super scribe the Employment Notification No., Name of the post, discipline and Registration No. generated while applying Online on the envelope before sending the hardcopies of the application along with copies of all the Certificates and Testimonials (self attested) in support of his/her application etc. to “Post Box No 1352, Post Office, Humayun Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana State, Pin- 500028” so as to reach on or before last date failing which your application will not be considered.It shall be scrutinised as per advertised criteria.
Q. 9 : Whether the change of Exam City / Venue is allowed after the submission of Application. ?
Answer : No change in Exam Venue will be allowed under any circumstances.
Q. 10 : What is the last date for submission of Online Application Form ?
Answer : The Schedule of Online registration will be given on website. IN ORDER TO AVOID LAST MINUTE RUSH, THE CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO APPLY EARLY ENOUGH. NMDC WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR NETWORK PROBLEMS OR ANY OTHER PROBLEM IN SUBMISSION OF ONLINE APPLICATION. INCOMPLETE FORM / REGISTRATION WITH NO FEE / MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS / APPLICATIONS NOT MEETING ADVERTISED CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATION WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED.
